Book Group With Pastor Shannonspiritual migration

As I began working at Peace this past February, one of my companions was Brian McLaren’s book, The Great Spiritual Migration, How the World’s Largest Religion is Seeking a Better Way to be Christian.  I found it both challenging and inspiring as I thought of our days ahead together here at Peace and how we might go about strengthening our community so that it continues to be vital in a changing world.

Beginning in October, I will be offering a 5 week small group series to read the book together and talk about the ideas in it.  My hope is that we can engage the ideas in it as a group and find encouragement for our own faith life as well as inspiration about where God may be calling us as a community.  I hope you will join me.  Sign up on the website or talk to me if you are interested in knowing more.

Meeting dates:  October 3,17, November 7, 21, December 5
